And the Walrus fell in love with the Dolphin

These last few nights,You were in my dreams
In my thoughts, Forever it seems.
The present is yesterday,and the past today
You here beside me
Like you never faded away.
The times we shared are back again
As are the feelings you easily shed.
The yearning and churning
Of my heart has begun
Just like when we stood together as one.
The heart on my chest has never felt so real,
Resting upon my skin I could feel,

The sign.
Of what I was unsure of,
All of this time.
The tightness
The heat
The hot sweaty palm
All at once, I felt your charm.
Never was I sure, if my assumption was worthy
Up until this moment of complete certainty
You were the one, standing beside me
In the good, the bad and the downright dirty
You held my hand
And stopped my tears
You were the saviour of all of my fears
Somewhere along this hard, fast journey
I fell in love with you, I say this with certainty.
